Reviewed March 14, 2012 We liked this hotel. The place isn't new but it is well cared for and all the things you look for are done well. The room was big and had a writing table and a comfy chair. The bathroom was huge with two sinks and a tub. And they provided one of my favorite requirements -- free WiFi.
The general facilities were also quite nice, a good sized pool, a fairly good restaurant, etc. And the location is good, close to the 10 Freeway and just down the road from Palm Springs.
My guess is that the hotel is a great deal for folks who are golfers, it's right next to a fancy course and greens fees seem reasonable. And of course the entire area is like country club city. But for us the place was just a nice spot to stay without having to pay extra for the Palm Springs location.
On the down side: the TV was one of the old 27 inch tubes, the bed was average, and the service was nothing special. But no big issues. Stayed March 2012, traveled as a couple
Reviewed February 24, 2012 Had 2nd floor rooms. We, grandparents in one, daughter and family next door. Nice view overlooking the golf course. The pool is easy to get to, two hot tubs. The pool food service is abominable. A very long wait - we left before the beer arrived, but others were complaining also.
Located on a corner across from the facilities are a CVS and several restaurants, pizza, and subway. We aren't big eaters so that was OK for lunch, and drove downtown for dinner.
The room WI-fi was great and we were able to get Netflix on our I Pad with no problem - and we were at the far end of the hotel. The television is lousy and an old tube-type with snowy reception.
